What Is Bextra?
Bextra is a prescription pain reliever that is taken once a day to treat osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, painful menstrual cramps, and other painful medical disorders. The drug is a COX 2 inhibitor non–steroidal anti-inflammatory medication manufactured by Pfizer and was approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in November 2001.
