CJ Snyder

Carrington "C.J" Snyder focuses her practice on litigating large and complex personal injury and wrongful death cases on behalf of injured individuals. Her practice focuses on auto collisions involving tractor trailers (semi-trucks), buses, airplanes and other large commercial vehicles and international carriers. Carrington joined Vititoe Law Group after graduating from Southwestern University School of Law. Prior to going to law school, Carrington graduated from California Polytechnic State University where she majored in Business and minored in Economics with a double concentration in Marketing and Finance. While at Southwestern, Carrington was a member of the Trial Advocacy Honors Program, secretary of the International Law Society, and received the CALI Excellence in the Future Award in International Law.

Carrington has been awarded Top 40 under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers for the past two years in a row (2014 and 2013). This recognition is by invite only and recognizes a select number of attorneys under 40 years old who have shown excellence in advocacy shown through their verdicts and settlements.

In 2014 Carrington was selected the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 California Chair. Carrington's selection as California Chair of The Top 40 Under 40 is a major professional accomplishment and a testament to her leadership and superior qualifications as a lawyer. This nomination is considered an exclusive distinction and is representative of Carrington's strong presence in the legal community and her areas of practice, as well as consistent achievements and success as a trial lawyer in the state of California.

Carrington is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles (CAALA), Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), the American Association of Justice (AAJ), and The National Trial Lawyers.

A few of Carrington's recent verdicts, settlements, and pending matters are as follows:

Baretto v. Aires Columbia: (Confidential Settlement) Airplane crash in Columbia involving wrongful death and multiple injured parties. Settled at mediation.

To v. Da Zhen Travel: August 22, 2013 California charter bus crash on the 210 freeway involving many injured passengers. Vititoe Law Group represents multiple injured parties in this action.

Chen v. KLS Transportation et al.: (Confidential Settlement) Tractor trailer versus tractor trailer collision wherein Plaintiff's tractor trailer was rear-ended and flipped over. Chen suffered a traumatic brain injury, back injury and shoulder injury.

Rafaele v. Trans-National Logistics LLC, et al.: (Confidential Settlement) Plaintiffs' vehicle was struck by a hit and run tractor trailer and flipped over onto the side of the road. Plaintiff suffered a severe traumatic brain injury requiring permanent inpatient care.

Costa Concordia: (Pending) The cruise liner Costa Concordia crashed off the coast of Italy injuring and killing many passengers. Vititoe Law Group represents multiple injured parties in this action.
